Museumsinsel subway station

Completion: 2021

The Museumsinsel subway station is a stop on the U5 line in the heart of Berlin. It impresses with its extraordinary architecture and offers direct access to the Museumsinsel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The design was developed by the architectural firm Max Dudler, and the lighting design was carried out by SSF Ingenieure AG,Pichler Ingenieure, and High Light. The custom lighting fixtures for all entrances and the platform were developed in close collaboration between SCHMITZ-WILA and the BVG’s technical department.
